Does anyone know from where I can find a Bonnet Badge for my 1959 Austin Cambridge A55 Farina?

DeeJay asked:

It is the badge on top of the bonnet, and not the badge on the front grill. It comes in 2 parts:
1) A chrome strip (which fits directly onto the bonnet, and extends from the front of the bonnet towards the windscreen. It is about 10 to 12 inches long), and

2) The sloping “A” where the “legs” of the “A” fit directly onto the bonnet in front of the chrome strip, and the top of the “A” slopes back towards the windscreen on top of the chrome strip.

It is an upright badge, which sticks up about 2 or 2.5 inches at its highest point (which is the top of the “A”), and tapers down as it goes backwards.

It is not the “Flying A” Badge, as is found on many other Austin models. I was told that only the very first A55 Farinas came with this Badge.

Lisabeth asked:

Having our rehearsal dinner for our wedding in August and looking for a fun place for 25-30 people in the Cambridge/Watertown/Waltham area. Looking to spend about $30 per person and a private or off-main dining room area would be ideal, but not absolutely necessary.

Thank you in advance!
Thanks for your suggestions so far. Newton restaurants would work too!

I have applied to the University of Cambridge in England and I have my interview this week, but I’m having doubts as to whether or not I actually want to go there. Are there any Cambridge students who can tell me honestly whether they enjoyed their time at Cambridge, whether it was worth all the hard work / application process, and whether they would honestly recommend it to a humanities student? Also, did you have a fun time whilst you were there? Thanks

Moving to Cambridge,MA from Miami, what do I do to make my car on-street parking legal?

skilo1557 asked:

I’ll be a grad student at MIT, own a financed car, and will need to get an on-street parking permit. It is a confusing process so I’m looking for clarity.

- The State of Mass allows me to not change my Florida registration, and fill out a temporary student registration form.

- However, City of Cambridge requires me to have ,ass registration to get on-street parking.

- What do I do to get Mass registration? Does this involve gettin Mass License Plate? What about my title, do I do anything with it (which is currently in the hands of my bank)?

- I know car insurance is another complicatin, but luckily I have StateFarm which exists there, and will allow me to do a smooth transition. But do they require title/registration switch to Mass?

Pheww. and any word on drivers license switch up?
