A nice green/quiet area to live in Cambridge/Boston?

I’m going to move to Cambridge, MA in a few months and looking for a place to live there. Never lived in the US before. Which residential areas would there be for a quiet life in green, nice environments (but not expensive areas)? Good public transportation to Harvard square would be desirable too. And where do you people go for searching low rents? Any popular website or the craigslist? Thank you.

The two are little lower the two are right next to reduce rent because enough people care about being in somerville that the red line underground which is very good inman square is also nice green neighborhoods and is mile from harvard has some nice with good.
