A nice green/quiet area to live in Cambridge/Boston?

Which residential areas would there be for a quiet life in green, nice environments (but not expensive areas)? Good public transportation to Harvard square would be desirable too. Is there overnight parking at Quest Diagnostics in Cambridge, MA?
